[ MOVEMENT ARTIST & ACTIVIST ]

I am a movement artist, collaborator, and human. I draw inspiration from my identity as a multiracial woman, growing up within a multifaceted environment. As my life has been filled with moving homes, and changing people, I have come to value my connection with the passage of time. This kind of durational art is at the center of my practice. I invite others to interact with the multi-medium architectural designs I share on a stage, in a lounge, or at a jam. Drawing individuals in, I spit them out an hour later having learned the gravity within seemingly simple concepts. Our collective thoughts coalesce, and expressions grow stronger together by tuning in with others to build structures, or music. Within my art I utilize materials such as the human body, rotating surfaces, and hanging objects. My projects dance at the intersection of rhythm and postmodern aesthetic. I am a human, therefore I use human things, to connect with other humans. I strive to produce art that unfolds beauty, adds noble sentiments  to the collective consciousness, and reveals hidden or concealed aspects of society.
